Peter Gabriel Acknowledges Meeting With Genesis To Discuss Possible
Reunion!
Steve Hackett has recently stated in interviews that there was a
possibility of a Genesis reunion and that there was to be a meeting with
former band members to discuss this long-anticipated event. This was
confirmed by Peter Gabriel on the tabloid television show Extra yesterday.
Gabriel, who was promoting his forthcoming concert DVD, Still
Growing Up: Live and Unwrapped (due November 15th in North
America), was asked about a Genesis reunion and commented that the
meeting Hackett referred to will be taking place - although no specific
meeting date was mentioned. Stay tuned for details as we get them!

Ray Wilson Adds Tour Dates For 2005/06
According to Ray Wilson, Ray and his band have just kicked off the
German tour, and tickets are on sale now for those who still want to buy
them! A UK tour is planned for May and June of 2006; and there will also
be acoustic tour dates soon to be announced for Feb 2006. For more

Update On The Forthcoming Official Steve Hackett Biography
Alan Hewitt, best known for his acclaimed Genesis biography, Opening
The Musical Box, and his brief appearance in the Genesis Songbook
DVD, has completed the first draft of his forthcoming official biography
on Steve Hackett. Tentatively titled, Walking Away From Rainbows: The
Steve Hackett Story, Hewitt anticipates further revisions and
additional interviews before the project will be completed with no
immediate release date in sight. More on the book's release will be
announced here when known.

Walt Disney's Tarzan DVD To Be Released On Tuesday In North
America
Following the re-issue
in Europe, Walt Disney is finally reissuing the theatrical version
of their animated hit Tarzan
on Tuesday, October 18th in North America (NTSC/Region 1).
Although rumors initially stated that it would be a double DVD
set, Disney now reports that the North American issue will only be
a single disc set.

Fan Sponsored Genesis Convention Coming To England In May 2006
According to a post in the forum of the official
Genesis site, there will be a fan sponsored Genesis convention
(unsanctioned by Genesis) taking place at the London Astoria Hotel in
the heart of the West End on May 27th and 28th. The event will include
four UK Genesis tribute bands: ReGenesis, In the Cage, G2 and Face
Value. The event is also said to include showings of "rare"
footage, album signings, very special guests and more. More details will
be posted when known.

Ray Wilson Featured On New RPWL Live Album
Ray Wilson is featured on two tracks on the new live album from RPWL, Start
The Fire. The two tracks were recorded from the band's
Rockpalast TV performance with Wilson, where they performed Genesis'
"Not About Us" and "Roses" from the RPWL album, World
Through My Eyes.

"United Against Malaria" Concert on
Swiss Radio Today!
You can hear Peter's performance from the United
Nations 60th anniversary event (to benefit malaria research) in Geneva
on the Swiss radio channel 'Couleur3'.

Peter Gabriel and Angelina Jolie To Host Concert For WITNESS In New
York
Peter and Angelina
Jolie are to host largest ever gala concert for WITNESS on December 5,
2005 at The Supper Club in New York City. Special musical acts scheduled
to perform include Emmylou Harris and Nile Rodgers with CHIC, with more
guests to be announced soon. The event will highlight the work of
WITNESS and Angelina Jolie to help support a lasting peace in Sierra
Leone, where a devastating 11 year conflict came to an end in 2002. To

New Disturbed CD Features Genesis Cover Tune
The new album from the alternative hard rock band Disturbed, Ten
Thousand Fists, features a new heavy cover version of Genesis'
"Land of Confusion." Disturbed is no stranger to 80's cover
tunes. The band covered Tears For Fears "Shout" on their major
label debut album, The
Sickness.
