Phil Collins Performed At Charity Concert Last Night
According to
Swisster, Phil Collins performed at a charity concert last night at the
Châtaigneraie campus of the International School of Geneva. The school
celebrated its 100th anniversary this year, and
The concert was performed for a privileged few members of the school
community as part of a centenary gala
in a 300-seat hall on the campus.
Collins helped direct a music group of
nine students aged 14-18. They started off the anniversary celebrations by
performing a selection of Genesis songs in a 20-minute set.
As part of the second set of the
concert, three songs were sung by a choir of 30 students aged 13 to 18 years
old, who had been rehearsing this week with Collins. The songs sung by the
choir included: True Colours, Come with Me, and Take
Me Home. The
second set also included Collins' own 45-minute performance with three
members of his touring band.
