Genesis Biography Added To Site - Sales Figures Revealed!
For years, people have speculated on the sales figures for albums like
Genesis' Calling All Stations, Archive, Archive #2,
etc.. Well, after some extensive research, I have posted the first
biography to the World of Genesis

section. In there, you will not only find that information, but also
a few other historical tidbits on the band. More biographies will follow

Phil Collins Announces A Final Tour; First Show To Go On Sale November
21st!
According to the official Phil
Collins site, Phil is preparing for a farewell tour. A full list of
tour dates and venues will be posted when available. Rumors have been
circulating about this tour for weeks, and it is expected that the tour
will be fairly brief and cover stops in Europe and North America (again,
stops on the tour have yet to be confirmed).
The first date on the tour will be at the Manchester MEN Arena on June
28th, and tickets will go on sale Friday, November 21st
at 9 a.m. and
are priced at £42 and £32 plus booking fee.

Peter Gabriel Hit Rescheduled For Release In Japan
Peter Gabriel's Hit compilation (catalog # VJCP-68593) has
been rescheduled for release in Japan on December 10th. The track
listing of the Japanese 2-CD issue will mirror the U.S. 2-CD track
listing.

Additional Gabriel Tour Dates Confirmed
According to the official Peter
Gabriel site, in addition to the four tour dates announced in
November for the UK and South Africa, more tour dates are anticipated in
May 2004. More details will follow when available. Announced dates are
as follows:
November 21st - Wales (BBC Children In Need Festival)
November 23rd - Box, England (private show)
November 24th - Brighton, England

Carrack Shows Cancelled Due To Theft
According to the official
Paul Carrack site, Friday's sell out concert at the Cambridge Corn
Exchange and Saturday's show at Guilford Civic have been postponed due
to the theft of a truck containing the band's equipment. The white
Mercedes seven-and-a half-ton box van, registration number H663ATC,
containing guitars, drums, keyboards and PA equipment was stolen in the
early hours of Friday morning. The Cambridge show has been moved to Dec
2nd, Guilford is moved to November 16th. Tickets remain valid for the
shows or refunds are available from the venues. Ticket holders can
contact the Corn Exchange Box Office on 01223-357851 for info.

Gabriel Considers Parting Ways With His U.S. Label
According to a new article in Billboard,
Peter Gabriel is considering parting ways with his long-time U.S. record
label, Geffen. Hit,
his forthcoming compilation album will complete his obligation to the
label. Further, Gabriel only owes one more album on his European Record
label, so major changes could be underway worldwide. Check out the

Phil Collins' New Single Cracks The U.S. Top Ten
Phil Collins' new single, "Look Through My Eyes" from the Brother
Bear soundtrack has reached #10 on the Adult Contemporary Chart this
week according to Billboard.
Interestingly, "Can't Stop Loving You", first first single
from his Testify album, is still at #15 on the chart.
