Peter Gabriel Talks About
New Tour In Video Clip; Says Genesis Tour Not of Interest
A new
Peter Gabriel interview for his 2009 South American Tour shares insight
into the new tour and much more. Among the more revealing comments were his
thoughts on the much rumored Genesis reunion. According to Gabriel, he is
not interested in a Genesis reunion tour at this point, but would not rule
out the possibility of a one-off collaborative project, such as a Lamb
Lies Down on Broadway film. Watch the video at the link above for more
information.

Nick Davis Provides Update
on Genesis Live Box Set
Nick Davis, Genesis' long-time Producer and Engineer, stated on the
official Genesis
site's forum that he has completed the remixing and remastering (of the
audio) for Three Sides Live and The Way We Walk: Volumes One and
Two (a.k.a. The Shorts and The Longs) in stereo and 5.1
surround sound. To date, that means all of the live albums from 1977's
Seconds Out through 2007's Live Over Europe are completed. All
that remains at this point are remixing and remastering any potential bonus
live tracks that may be included and the 1973 live album, Genesis Live.
Sadly, the multi-tracks for Genesis Live still appear to be missing.
Hopefully, the missing multi-tracks will turn up soon (if you have any
information as to where the missing multi-tracks may be, please
contact me so that I may pass your information on to Nick Davis). The
band also plans to review possible unreleased or previously rare video for
the release (similar to what they did for the previous three Genesis box
sets:
1970-1975,
1976-1982,
1983-1998).

Phil Collins Says,
"Remember The Alamo!"
Its been said before that Phil Collins had a passion for collecting
authentic items from the Alamo. So, perhaps its no surprise that Collins is
in San Antonio, Texas as part of the ceremonies around the anniversary of
that historic famous battle.
“Basically, now I've stopped being Phil
Collins the singer. This has become what I do,”
said Collins. Collins talks about his passion for collecting items from the
Alamo, a possible book on the subject and his impressive collection of
cannon balls, artifacts and other documents from the period, and his
narration of
13-minute “Alamo diorama light and sound
show” at the History Shop at 713 E. Houston St., by the Alamo. For more on
Phil's incredible hobby, click here to read an article featured in
My San Antonio News.
