Mike Rutherford Makes Appearance On Philadelphia Radio
This morning on WMGK 102.9 FM in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mike Rutherford will be interviewed by radio
DJ John DeBella. DeBella's morning show is in London, England this week
and will be speaking to Rutherford about his many recent projects and
his work with Genesis.

Collins Honored For Speaking Out On His Hearing Loss

Music, Phil Collins, who has spoken publicly about his bout with
hearing loss, will be honored by Sound Partners, a charitable
organization. Collins will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement
Award for Recording Arts at the annual House Ear Institute Benefit in
Beverly Hills, California on March 24, 2005.

Stuermer To Perform AT WAMI Awards Show In April
According to the WAMI
website (Wisconsin Area Music Industry), their 25th annual WAMI
Award Show will be on April 25th. The show will feature a performance by
Wisconsin's own Daryl Stuermer and The Tempters, a local area
Temptations cover group. Stuermer fans can vote for Daryl for the WAMI
People's Choice Award which can be found at the link above. Submissions
for the People's Choice Award will be taken via the website until March
26, 2005 with the winner announced at the ceremony on April 25th.

Rhino Delays the Release of Genesis Video Show DVD and The
Platinum
Collection in USA
I spoke to the Publicity Department at Rhino Records who confirmed that
the Genesis Platinum Collection CD and Genesis Video Show
DVD have been delayed in North America yet again... This time until
October 2005. More news on this when I get it!

Daryl Stuermer Updates World of Genesis.com On Future Solo Plans
According to Daryl himself, he plans to record and film some live shows
this summer from his up-coming solo tour for a live CD and DVD for
possible release in late 2005 or early 2006. More details will hopefully
follow in the next few months.

Phil Collins, Madonna, Beatles & Others Donate To Charity Auction
For Tsunami Victims
Nearly 100 items from celebrities have been donated to the charity
auction run by fashion website ClothesAgency.com.
Among the items are Madonna's "Boy Toy" belt made famous on
the Like A Virgin album cover, an original Sergeant Pepper jacket
from The Beatles (!), and a Phil Collins Versace green cashmere blazer
to name but three items. The auction opened on February 11th and will
close on March 13th. Get those bids in and help a worthy cause!

Peter Gabriel Says New Album By Next Year

Peter Gabriel site, Peter is getting back into the studio and making
some new music. The site says that one of Gabriel's main priorities is
getting a new studio album out by next year.

Peter Gabriel Item To Be Auctioned For Charity
According to the official Peter
Gabriel site, there will be a Douglas Adams Memorial Lecture on
March 10, 2005 in aid of Save The Rhino and the Dian Fossey Gorilla
Fund. After the lecture, there will be an auction and raffle. One of the
items up for auction is a waistcoat donated by Peter Gabriel and signed
by himself and Youssou N’Dour (the waistcoat was a gift from Youssou
N’Dor to Peter Gabriel on their 1987 tour).

Orders Available For New Albums By Hackett, Wilson, and Carrack!
You can now pre-order the new Steve Hackett album, Metamorpheus. As previously
mentioned, you can also order the new Ray Wilson 2-CD live album, aptly
titled
Ray Wilson Live. Last but not least, you can order the new Paul
Carrack 2-CD live album, Live At Liverpool, and the accompanying
DVD (PAL format only) which are sold separately from the official
Paul Carrack site. Sadly, there seem to be no plans at the present
for an NTSC version of the Carrack DVD.

According to CNN,
Phil Collins, Eric Clapton, Brian May, Jimmy Page,
ex-Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, Jeff Beck, Roger Daltrey, and other
British rock and pop legends were honored by the Queen of England
as part of a ceremony to honor the British music industry at
Buckingham Palace in England on Tuesday, March 1st (Webmaster's
note: According to the official
Peter Gabriel site, although not mentioned by CNN, Mr. Gabriel
was also in attendance at the event at Buckingham Palace). Click
