According to the author, her father, Freddy Bannister, promoted the June
1978 Knebworth Festival with Genesis and also the September
1978
Knebworth Festival with Peter Gabriel. They have recently produced a
commemorative set entitled There
Must Be A Better Way which covers the Knebworth festivals from
1974-1979. Amongst the memorabilia there are programs, tickets and
flyers from the Genesis and Peter Gabriel festivals. The set also
includes numerous photos of Genesis and Peter Gabriel, plus a video with
the BBC broadcast of Genesis sound check, interviews with the band and
part of their actual show.

Autographed Phil Collins Limited Edition Print Now Available; Proceeds
Go To Charity
According to the official Phil
Collins site,
the charity
Hope for Tomorrow - helping families cope with cancer - was launched
last December with The Art of Music Exhibition (an exhibition of
original paintings by Juan Carlos Ferrigno depicting legends from the
world of music including Phil Collins). The exhibition culminated in a
Gala Dinner and Charity Auction. The original of Phil went for £3500 in
the auction.
Following
the success of the exhibition we have produced a limited edition
worldwide print (500) of Phil Collins taken from the original painting.
These prints are individually numbered and hand signed by both the
artist and Phil Collins. A certificate of authenticity is provided with
each print which includes a photograph of Phil signing the prints. Both
Phil's charity Little Dreams Foundation and Hope for Tomorrow will
benefit from the sale of these prints. Visit
www.artofmusic.org/prints
or ring 01666 505055 for further details.

Details on New Carrack DVD Revealed
On the official Paul Carrack site,
a posting in the Guest Book section from one of the people involved with
the project states that the DVD will feature two hours of music from the
Buxton, England show, an interview with Paul Carrack, and interviews
with fans. It has been mixed in 5.1 surround sound by Nigel Bates and
Ben Fenner. The video has been produced by a company called Dash who are
associated with Granada television. More on the DVD including an actual
release date will follow shortly.
The post also cites that while the show at Royal Albert Hall around
Paul's 50th birthday was recorded, there are contractual issues that
have slowed its release. Apparently, while the artists who performed at
the concert are fine with Paul putting out the DVD, their record
companies are causing some "red tape" to interfere with its
release. Hopefully, this will all get resolved!
