Forthcoming Ant Phillips'
Reissue Will Include Rare B-Side with Rutherford and Collins
The official Anthony
Phillips site has confirmed that his forthcoming 2-CD reissue of The
Geese and The Ghost will include "Silver Song" featuring both Mike
Rutherford and Phil Collins. This track was often mistaken as an early Genesis
outtake, but in reality it was a rare Phillips recording from 1973 with Phil
Collins on vocals and Mike assisting on guitars. The song has never been
officially issued on compact disc, so this will clearly be a highlight of this
anticipated remaster. At this point, it is still unknown as to whether "Only
Your Love" another Collins sung track will also see the light of day on these
new Phillips remasters. Stay tuned for more information!
