Gabriel Makes An Estimated $10.83 Million In The Sale Of OD2
According to an article in The
Independent, Peter Gabriel saw up to $10.83m (£5.95m) added to his
personal fortune on June 23rd with sale of OD2, the digital music
company in which he has an 18 percent stake. The company, which runs music
download services for consumer companies such as Coca-Cola and Virgin,
has been bought by Loudeye, a Nasdaq-listed technology group that offers
similar services in the US. The
initial consideration for OD2, which stands for On Demand Distribution,
is $38.2m, but could rise by another $18.8m if certain performance
criteria are met.

New Gabriel Tune Featured On Soundtrack To Shall We Dance?
A new Peter Gabriel track, "The Book of Love," is featured on
the soundtrack to the film Shall We Dance? starring Richard Gere
and Jennifer Lopez, which will be released in theaters shortly. To view

Phil Collins Publicly Addresses Fans On Official Website
On June 11th, Phil Collins had a posting listed to the official Phil
Collins and Genesis websites. Collins responded very candidly and
honestly to comments made by fans about the set list to his current tour
and a few other issues. Click here

Also in that posting, Collins addresses the fact that he cannot release
any Encore Series CDs, which were to be official bootlegs from his
current tour, due to the demands of his label, Atlantic Records.

Gabriel Announces More Encore CDs From Current Tour
The Music.com has
just announced that Peter Gabriel is playing approximately 20 music
"Festivals" over the summer, and these concerts are now a part
of the Encore Series for the 2004 European "Still Growing Up"
tour. All the June tour dates are available for pre-order right now, and
the July shows will be offered very soon. More details will follow when
available.

Genesis Site Officially Confirms Release of 5.1 Mix of The Lamb Lies
Down on Broadway
Although posted by the webmaster of the official
Genesis site in the Forum section a month ago, it is now formally
posted that the 5.1 mix of The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway will be
released in September, the 30th anniversary of the album's release.
