Update on Steve Hackett Remasters
According to Steve Hackett's management, The first four remastered
Hackett solo albums on CD are likely to be released in the third quarter of the year. Steve will remaster the albums in
his own studio as previously reported, but no final decisions have been taken
as of today on additional tracks. His management hope that they be able to include all of the original
album artwork in the booklets, but the reissues will almost certainly be normal jewel case CDs
(as opposed to mini LP style CD sleeves) as EMI Commercial Marketing have restraints on special packaging
expenditures. As more specific information becomes available, it will be
posted here.

Paul Carrack Provides A Personal Update On Solo DVDs
While the PAL formatted DVD for Paul Carrack's Live At The Opera
House from his 2003/04 tour has been available for some time in
Europe, the NTSC version of the DVD has never been released. Sadly,
according to Carrack himself, there are no plans to release the DVD in
NTSC.
In other Carrack DVD news, a new DVD recorded live at the Liverpool Philharmonic
in October 2004 is due for release in the next two to three weeks. The
double DVD contains approximately two hours of music plus interviews
with all the band members and behind the scenes footage. Filmed by Granada
based Dash Productions and mixed by Nigel Bates, Live From Liverpool
is said to be superb both visually and sonically as compared to the
other two Carrack DVDs.

That DVD is now available for pre-order and will be available in

in North America is Live At Shepherds Bush London (I
suppose, they added "London" because people from North
America don't know where Shepherds Bush is?). In any case, the DVD
