According to the official Paul
Carrack site, Paul is hard at work, trying to
complete his new album by mid-March to secure a May 5th release. He also
hopes to release a new single on April 14th. This will not be
"Where Did I Go Wrong", as previously announced both here and
on his official website. The single will be "She Lived Down the
Street" which was co-written with Chris Difford (of Squeeze). The
extra track on the CD single will be a live version of "Walk In The
Room" recorded at Royal Albert Hall in London, England in 2002.
At this point, this is no indication that the originally scheduled
single "Where Did I Go Wrong" will be released. For those
collectors out there, keep checking Ebay.
I have seen quite a few promo copies circulating, and if it is never
commercially released, the value should go up significantly since it has
a b-side not included on the currently planned single!
