Long Way Down Soundtrack Featuring
Peter Gabriel's Big Blue Ball Released
Real
World Records has released the 30-track, 2-CD soundtrack to
Long Way Down, the TV series featuring Ewan McGregor and Charlie
Boorman.
One of the songs included on this set is "The Whole Thing" by The Big Blue
Ball featuring vocals by Peter Gabriel! There is still no release date for
Gabriel's Big Blue Ball project, so get your copy of Long Way Down

Genesis Earn Honors As Second Highest
Grossing International Tour of 2007
According to an article on
E! News On-Line, Genesis finished the North American leg of their tour as
the 8th highest grossing tour of 2007 in North America according to
Pollstar. The 25-date tour of the United States and Canada earned $47.6
million. Genesis was the second highest international tour selling $129 million
worldwide.

Steve Hackett Shares Details On Forthcoming
Rock Project
In addition to Steve Hackett's new classical guitar album, Tribute,
coming out in February (see the
November News Section for details), Steve has also revealed that a rock
project he is working for future release will include Yes bassist Chris Squire
and drummer Simon Phillips. No release date is known at this time for this new
rock project.

Steve Hackett Update
There is much to report in the Steve Hackett camp this December! In addition to
his appearance on Yes bassist Chris Squire's new holiday album
Chris Squire's Swiss Choir, there is also news of a new classical guitar
album and newly recorded rock tracks (at least one of which features
Chris Squire on bass) for a possible future release!
According to the

Connection, Steve Hackett will release his next album on February 11, 2008.
