New Article Posted On Peter Gabriel's 'Filter'
As reported here back in October, the Filter is designed to study the music
stored on a computer and suggest other albums and artists based on the owner's
tastes and works with iTunes. There is a new article on
The Filter featured in
Wired. According to Gabriel, "The first wave of the digital revolution
was about the freedom of choice, trying to make everything accessible to anyone,
anyplace, anytime. I think the second wave will in some ways be about freedom
from choice. It will be able to filter and focus so that you get more of what
you want, what excites, entertains and surprises you."
