Steve Hackett's upcoming
Archive 05 CD was recorded at Queen
Elizabeth Hall in London, England on his latest acoustic tour. The live
recording has already been mixed, so a release date should be announced
shortly.

New Strat Pack DVD To Feature Rare Carrack/Rutherford Live Medley
On May 3, 2005, the North American DVD for Strat
Pack: Live In Concert will be released. This concert was filmed
in 2004 in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Stratocaster
guitar. The concert includes a live medley by Paul Carrack and Mike
Rutherford featuring "How Long", "All Along The
Watchtower", "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" and "I
Can't Dance." Other featured artists include Brian May (of Queen),
Paul Rogers (of Bad Company), Dave Gilmour (of Pink Floyd), Ron Wood (of
the Rolling Stones), Joe Walsh (of The Eagles) and more.

Anthony Phillips Finished Library Music Project; Work Resumes on
PP&P Album
According to the official
Anthony Phillips site, Ant has now completed work on
his latest Library Music project for Atmosphere Music and is apparently
now looking forward to completing work on the long-awaited new Private
Parts & Pieces album.

Genesis Announce Nursery Cryme 5.1 SACD Completed; Foxtrot
Is Next!
According to a post on the official
Genesis site, Nick Davis has completed work on the 5.1 SACD remix of
the early Genesis classic Nursery Cryme. In about ten days he
will start work on a similar re-working of the Foxtrot
album.

reports "For those of you wondering why there are no Gabriel-era

Steve Hackett Live DVD From 1978 To Be Released In Europe
A rare 1978 Live performance from Steve Hackett will be released on DVD
on May 20th in Europe. The source is from a
Germany TV show called "Musikladen." On November 8, 1978,
Steve made an appearance on the program. This DVD contains this
performance (Please Don't Touch, Racing In A, Ace Of Wands, Narnia,
Tower Struck Down / Spectral Mornings, Kim (Acoustic Section), Shadow Of
The Hierophant / Clocks - The Angel Of Mons) - and a special bonus
feature with live versions of Carry On Up The Vicarage and Star
Of Sirius, that have not been broadcasted. There
is currently no North American release date for this DVD at this time.

Nursery Cryme To Be Remixed In 5.1 Surround Sound
According to the official
Genesis site, the classic Genesis album Nursery Cryme will be
the next project to be remixed in 5.1 surround sound. This will be the
third complete Genesis album to get this treatment following the
remixing of The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway (tentatively due for
release this fall) and Trick of The Tail, the later of which has
no known release date yet. The remixing of Nursery Cryme began on
April 14th by Nick Davis at the band's studio, The Farm. More
information on the release of this project will be announced when
available.

Locations On The 2005 Collins World Tour Announced
According to the official Phil
Collins website, it
is now confirmed that Phil will be playing in the following countries
during the period of October 13th through November 13th. Exact cities
and dates will be published as soon as tickets are ready to go on sale.
The cities
on the next leg of the First Final Farewell Tour include: Croatia, Czech
Republic, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Lebannon,
Lithuania, Romania, Russia, Serbia & Montenegro, Turkey, and The
United Arab Emirates.

Daryl Stuermer To Release New Progressive Influenced Album; New Tour

Brand X To Reunite With Former Producer For New Studio Album
According to the
band's official site, Brand X are reuniting with producer Dennis
Mackay, who is set to engineer and co-produce the upcoming Brand X
studio CD. Dennis produced the classic Brand X albums Unorthodox
Behaviour and Morrocan

Ronnie Caryl To Perform Live In France
According to Philippe Claerhout, the Phil Collins guitarist and former
member of the early Collins band Flaming Youth will be playing two
concerts in June in France. Caryl is a member of a trio who plays covers
of the Beatles, Eric Clapton, and Phil Collins as well as Ronnie Caryl's
own material. The trio, called Ronnie Caryl and Friends, will be playing
in Agen on June 21st, and Ste Foy La Grande (near Bergerac) on June
22nd. Both shows are reported to be free of charge. The trio consists of
Ronnie Caryl (Gtrs and vocals), Thierry Moreno (Drums), and Philippe
Claerhout (bass guitar).

Jonathan King Released From Prison
According to BBC
News, Jonathan King, 60, who was jailed for seven years in November
2001 for offences against children, was released March 29th from prison
in England. King is best known for his involvement as producer in
Genesis' first album, From Genesis To Revelation and for
"discovering" the band in the mid-1960s.
