Phil Collins Album Covers Are
Being Defaced By Celebrities For Charity
| In what has to be the
strangest news story of 2007 (or past years for that matter), a string of
celebrities ranging from Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant to Fatboy Slim have
defaced 25 Phil Collins album covers for a charity auction that will take
place on May 2nd at The Art Vinyl Gallery in Hackney, London. All proceeds
from the project, called Deface Value, are going to a charity that Phil
Collins is the curator of, Children In Hunger. These new masterpieces are
currently on display and will continue to be until the end of the charity
auction. |

Above are some examples of
the charity auction items up for bids for this worthy cause.
|
The
auction hopes to raise £50,000 for the charity as a result of this unique
auction. Click
